We run five senior mens, four senior ladies and mixed teams competing in the South, Hampshire and Surrey Leagues. Our Youth Academy runs on Sunday mornings for 5-12 year olds and we enter teams in local leagues and tournaments.

There is a great range of courses and regular events on offer such as employment preparation, computers, leisure, craft and exercise. There are also specialist courses on signing for people who are deaf, numeracy, ESOL and citizenship.

A range of course discounts is available and all employment preparation courses are free regardless of circumstances. Those in receipt of a means tested benefit only pay 50p per learning hour on most other courses. People who are over 60 get a 25% discount on course fees.

Walk, cycle, play or just have a picnic in these woods. Experience life in the trees with Go Ape, or take a relaxing break in their café. You can download a leaflet which contains a map before you visit. They also run fitness courses to suit all ages, abilities and budgets.

An interactive adventure trail, believed to be the first in the UK adapted for people with disabilities, is also available at Alice Holt. The project is a joint effort between the Forestry Commission and the Treloar Trust, which provides specialist care and education for young people with disabilities. The trail is designed specifically for wheelchairs by having a hard surface and rails along the pathways. A den 'skeleton' has also been built to enable wheelchair users to build a den and go inside it.

ASD Gaming Zone Sessions logo

A chance for ASD children and their siblings to come and meet others and have fun playing on games consoles. Every other Saturday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. For 6 year olds upwards. Free.

Autism friendly film screenings are held monthly at Odeon cinemas around the UK. For details about your nearest cinema screening visit the Dimensions website. When the films are being screened the lights will be on low, the volume will be turned down, there will be no trailers at the beginning of the film, you’ll be able to take your own food and drinks and you’ll be able to move around the cinema if you like.

Blackwater Valley Runners would like to be described as a social running club, we have around 70 members, made up of roughly equal numbers of male runners and female runners, of all standards of running, Club night is always Wednesday at 6.45 pm for a quick chat, warm up, then we run at 7pm for as little as 4 miles or for the more serious runners up to 10 miles.

Founded in 2011, Brightlight is a community theatre group in Farnborough. They rehearse twice a week on a Wednesday and Thursday and perform two productions a year (in April and October) at the Wavell Cody Community Campus.

Disability Challengers - Activity Weekends logo

Disability Challengers run activity weekends specifically for disabled young people aged 13-18 years who live or go to school in Hampshire. They are for young people to have a fun weekend away with friends. They get the chance to try a mixture of land and water based adventurous activities, which will vary from weekend to weekend. The activities offer the chance to try new experiences, increase confidence and learn new skills while being supported by Challengers staff, qualified instructors and the appropriate equipment.
