This drop-in support group is run on a voluntary basis by parents/carers of children/teenagers with varying disabilities. They are an informal, friendly group who offer support to others caring for disabled children, teenagers or adults. As they have strong ties with the Army they can advise on support for both military and civilian families, military welfare and the Army support network.
The Coffee, Chill and Chat Zone offers informal coffee mornings on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.30am. There is no charge for attending the group and there are toys, DVDs and a Wii for the children to play with.

Credit Action is a national money education charity committed to helping people manage their money better. They offer a useful booklet for single parents.

Advice on common children's illnesses and behavioural problems

Brook Advisory Centres is the only national voluntary sector provider of free and confidential sexual health advice and services specifically for young people under 25.

A support group for families with children on the Autistic Spectrum which has a venue, The Zone!, at the Samuel Cody Specialist Sports College in Farnborough. They provide information and advice for parents/carers, as well as activities, events and days out for families especially during school holidays! NHS Hampshire works to meet the health needs of Hampshire’s diverse communities. The organisation and all the staff working for it are committed to the principles and values of the National Health Service (NHS).
The HIVE is a tri-Service information network. It is available to all members of the Service Community, including both married and single personnel, together with their families and dependants as well as civilians employed by the Services. The opening hours are 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. The HIVE offers an extensive range of information on UK relocation; overseas relocation; Service families accommodation; single living accommodation; affordable housing schemes; childcare and early years provision; primary, secondary, post 16 and adult education; healthcare; employment; shopping including discount outlets; leisure and recreation; extended services and out of hours activities; motoring and travel; insurance, legal and financial matters; welfare and community support; pets and animal services; refuse collection and recycling; and cleaning companies.
In addition, the HIVE can offer support to families whose loved ones are currently on deployment. This includes deployment packs for families; an E Fax bluey facility; blueys; envelopes for 2kg parcels and various books.
A HIVE ‘Outreach’ is also available in The HUB in St. Omer Barracks from 12.00pm to 1.00pm on Wednesdays.
The Hampshire Family Information Directory is a new online directory offering parents and practitioners the ability to search for information about childcare and family services in their local community, in other neighbouring authority areas and nationally. The Hampshire Family Information Directory replaces HantsFish.

PAG (Parents Action Group) for Special Play is a registered charity based in Rushmoor. Their aim is to increase the play and leisure opportunities for families with special needs children and young people within the local area. All staff and volunteers are CRB checked.
PAG have a regular club called MADD Club – Music Arts Dance Drama - which is for 5-18 year olds who have special needs. Siblings within the age band can also be included. Places are limited, so please contact PAG before coming along. Parents/carers are required to stay, in the comfortable area provided.
