Butterflies and Dragonflies is a purpose built Children’s Centre in the grounds of Manor Infant School.
The aim of children’s centres is to give every child the best possible start in life. They are places where you can easily access a whole range of different services to support families with children under five years.
This Centre offers:- the services of a family support worker to local families; working with midwives to provide ante and post natal sessions; parent craft classes; music and dance sessions; a coffee morning for Service families only at Gibraltar Barracks; baby massage; Job Centre Plus Advisor; baby sensory; Sing and Sign stage 1 and 2; healthy living course; parentcraft; Triple P parenting course; stay and play; health visiting team; stretch and grow; play and language course; hearing impaired stay and play; twins club; childminders stay and play; baby PEEP; young parents group; and a Dads' club.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.

The Hampshire Cfit is a free, confidential and impartial childcare and early education information service for parents and carers. They provide information on childcare, early education and related services in Hampshire for children and young people aged 0 - 19 (including those with additional needs).
There are many different types of childcare available: childminders, playgroups, nurseries, pre schools, out-of-school care (before and after school), holiday playschemes and crèches. There are also other options if care is required in the family home, such as home childcarers, nannies or babysitters. Cfit can also point you in the direction of services to help pay for childcare, such as free early years education for children aged three and four, and help for lone parents, teenage parents, working parents or students. Information is available on schemes such as Working Tax Credit, Care To Learn, New Deal and childcare vouchers.

School, childcare and nursery finder

The Hampshire Family Information Directory is a new online directory offering parents and practitioners the ability to search for information about childcare and family services in their local community, in other neighbouring authority areas and nationally. The Hampshire Family Information Directory replaces HantsFish.

As part of Hampshire County Council's Children's Services Department restructure, the Early Education and Childcare Unit and Children's Centres Services teams have been realigned and the new combined service is known as Services for Young Children (SfYC). The aim of the service is to ensure that there is sufficient and quality childcare, early education and support for families of young children.

Guide to early learning and technology

Maple Vue Children's Centre provides a central point of contact for families with children under 5 years of age where you can easily access a wide range of different services including childcare and early years provision. They provide services across the wards of North Town and Wellington and are open 8.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Activities include:- Active Play Babies Group; Dads' Club; ante natal and child development checks; PEEP Group; Chatterbox - Speech and Language Support Group; Let's Cook Group; Parent Forum; Active Play Tots Group; Freeplay Session; Childminding Support Group; child health clinics; and music and dance.
The Centre runs a variety of regular courses such as Working with Children Level 1; Childcare Level 2 and 3; RHL adult health trainer sessions; Job Centre Plus; first aid for parents; maths; quit smoking clinics; baby massage; and ESOL. Call or check the website for the time table.
A full day-care nursery which is based in the Maple Vue Children's Centre. It is open Monday – Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Children at the nursery have direct access to outdoor play from each room and can engage in a range of activities through free flow play, including painting, singing, climbing and more. The National Childminding Association believes every child should reach their full potential. We work with registered childminders and nannies, as well as other individuals and organisations to ensure families in every community in England and Wales have access to high quality home-based childcare, play, learning and family support.

Wednesdays 9.30am - 11.00am in term time. With singing, storytime, crafts and refreshments.

Ofsted inspect and regulate the care of children and young people, and education and skills for learners of all ages

Access to early education and childcare for children under five. The Centre is open 8.00am-6.00pm Monday-Friday, all year round. Please note that during school holidays their timetable may differ.
Adult and family learning opportunities are available throughout the year and a new timetable is produced each term. Each course has a free crèche on site. If there is a course you would like to do which would help you get back to work, please tell their staff.

Park Children's Centre offers a quality provision for children and their families in a purpose built centre. It is open from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday all year round except in the Christmas week. There is a 69 place nursery/pre-school, and a playscheme during the school holidays. The Centre has a number of community rooms including a sensory room, large community room, meeting room and health room.
There is a group for first time parents and their babies; Sunbeams Group for parents/carers and their children 0 - 18 months; Rainbows Group for 18 months upwards; Dads Stay and Play session; music and dance sessions; PEEP course; and baby sensory course.
Courses and activities for adults include keep fit, domestic abuse, midwives for the under 22s, baby massage, first aid, literacy and numeracy, IT, money management, gardening and Job Centre Plus. There is also a Childminders' Group, mobile library visit, clothing exchange, speech and language group, parentcraft classes, baby health clinic, ante-natal drop-in clinic, quit smoking sessions, energy advisor and counselling.

The Pre-school Learning Alliance is a leading educational charity specialising in the early years.

Sunflowers provide a range of groups and services for children and their families living in the Wellington and Rowhill wards of Rushmoor.
They offer MAD Academy - Music and Dance; Bumps and Babes Group; Inbetweeners Group; infant massage instruction; Stay and Play; information and advice; adult learning.

This Centre serves the wards of St. Mark's, Knellwood and parts of Fleet North. It is situated in the grounds of South Farnborough Junior School.

Sycamore offer:- Family Learning; a Baby Group; a Toddler Group; a MAD Academy (music and dance); a Parent Forum; and a Dads' Club.
The Centre is open Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. At present the building is not always staffed during these hours as they are currently in the process of employing extra staff and hope to have the centre open full time as soon as possible.
